‘Taste of the Valley’ celebrates food and businesses of Hemet and San Jacinto

Hundreds of Hemet and San Jacinto residents filled the Golden Village Palms RV Park meeting hall Monday, Jan. 27, to sample fine food from Valley restaurants, meet with business owners, professionals, medical personnel, Realtors and charity workers at the Taste of the Valley in Hemet.The annual event was sponsored by the Hemet San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce and brought more than 40 entrants to the event at the RV resort, 3600 W. Florida Ave. in Hemet, to celebrate the fine food offerings in the Valley and the many businesses, schools, health organizations and nonprofit agencies available to residents and visitors.Top of the list of vendors were the restaurants and food enterprises offering a taste of their foods and desserts free to all who attended.
