Menifee Valley Historical Association is offering virtual tours of its museum for those looking for an educational and fun activity due to the state of California’s stay-at-home order. Valley News/Courtesy photo
Menifee parents seeking both an educational and fun activity for their out-of-school students due to the coronavirus “stay-at-home” order have a new virtual tour they can take of the Menifee Valley Historical Association Museum. Menifee’s museum itself is closed due to the coronavirus, but little is lost in the virtual visit now available at the museum’s website at https://www.menfeehistory.com/history-museum. The virtual visit is available both by using a cursor to roam around the museum and viewing all the displays or by listening and taking tour of the museum itself narrated by Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman or a study of the area’s geology narrated by Bob Kent, museum docent and geologist.
