Lakeland Village Community Center improvements advertised for bid

The construction contract for improvements to the Lakeland Village Community Center has been advertised for bid. On June 9, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to approve the plans and specifications for Phase II of the Lakeland Village Community Center Master Planning Project and authorize the clerk of the board of supervisors to advertise the project for bids. The motion also approved a project budget of $798,737, authorized the use of Community Development Block Grant funding for the project, designated the director of the county’s facilities management department as the county official responsible for administering the contract and found the project to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act and National Environmental Protection Act review
