Supervisors approve new Menifee, Anza library leases

Two Riverside County Board of Supervisors votes, Tuesday, Aug. 25, approved new leases for library branches.A 5-0 vote approved a new one-year lease with the Perris Union High School District for the branch at Heritage High School in Menifee. A 4-0 vote, with Kevin Jeffries not participating in that part of the meeting, approved a five-year lease with the Hemet Unified School District for the Anza branch at Hamilton High School. Both leases are retroactive to July 1 with the Heritage High School lease expiring June 30, 2021, and the Hamilton High School lease term ending June 30, 2025.Heritage High School is in the 26000 block of Briggs Road. The library branch is 6,292 square feet. The county first approved a joint use agreement with the school district for the library in December
