Dave Dolan hikes again

Dave Dolan, Anza Valley fishing expert, teacher, radio host and columnist, hiked to the summit of Tahquitz Peak again, accompanied by his friend Dan Ruiz. “This was the first time my hiking partner, Dan Ruiz, did Tahquitz Peak. However, he and I did Mt. San Jacinto together three years ago. Dan has done several sections of the Pacific Crest Trail here in Southern California,” Dolan said. The men reached Tahquitz Peak, 8,862 feet in elevation, Saturday, Nov. 14, in the San Jacinto mountains. “I first hiked to the summit back in 1973,” Dolan said. “Now I have attained the summit again, 47 years later.
