The Menifee Planning Commission and City Council learned the city could be next in line for a boom in warehousing development that could boost the city’s economy and employment rate during a joint special workshop meeting Wednesday, Dec. 2.In recent years the neighboring city of Perris has seen growth in their warehousing and logistic service outlets in the southern portion of the city, bordering the Ramona Expressway and Interstate 215.The meeting was called to hear an overview of a market demand study into the need for industrial projects, retail stores and office space in Menifee currently and in the city presented by consultants Meyers Group LLC.
