Alan Morgenstern of Temecula capitalized on his background in the entertainment industry to found Morningstar Musical Productions in Murrieta in 1989. In 2001, it was incorporated into Morningstar Productions LLC to encompass more diverse events.“As a kid I played in a local band called Main Street Magic,” Morgenstern said. “This group played all kinds of events including having the opportunity to play Disneyland and Las Vegas. I was the guy who would work on and run the PA (public address system) while also playing bass in the band.”While living in Los Angeles pursuing a music career after graduating from a Hollywood high school of the arts, Morgenstern’s mother needed his sound system for a women’s club event that offered to pay him to take it to Temecula.
