If no obstacles occur, the Eastern Municipal Water District will be acquiring a parcel in unincorporated Lake Elsinore the district will use for a communications tower.A 5-0 EMWD board vote July 15 authorized the fee title acquisition of the five-acre La Cresta property for $250,000. The Purchase and Sale Agreement includes a 120-day due diligence period to ensure La Cresta Property Owners Association support and an 18-month escrow period to address environmental and design analyses and mitigate environmental risks.Eastern’s radio telecommunications network allows staff to monitor and operate facilities remotely.
