Menifee residents suggest better quality of life and housing in public workshop

About a dozen Menifee residents appeared to discuss their ideas on the city’s plans for improving the quality of life, housing and transportation before city officials July 15 at Menifee City Hall and by Zoom. The resident input is part of the Menifee’s 2021 to 2029 6th Cycle Housing Element Update required by the state.The meeting was conducted by Cheryl Kitzerow, Menifee’s community development director and other city officials were on hand to record the residents’ suggestions for the housing element report held for about an hour.Their suggestions will be written in the city’s report by city officials, presented to the planning commission and then to the City Council by October.
