Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect that led them on a pursuit into the Cooper Cienega Truck Trail area Thursday, Aug. 9.Hemet Sheriff’s Station law enforcement personnel were assisted by San Diego Sheriff’s deputies and Riverside County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit’s Star 9 helicopter.“We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, you can run but you cannot hide from Star 9!” the Hemet Sheriff’s Station social media page stated. “This gentleman found out for the second time. He’s on his way to jail.”The unidentified suspect, wanted on a felony warrant, was apprehended off Cooper Cienega Truck Trail near the Beauty Mountain Wilderness.A dog and cats with the suspect were safely returned to their owner, a Hemet Station spokesman stated.
