Raids on illegal marijuana cultivation sites in Eastvale, Moreno Valley and Ontario resulted in the confiscation of more than 1,000 cannabis plants and one arrest, authorities said recently.Riverside County sheriff’s deputies served search warrants at multiple properties in the three cities Wednesday morning, Oct. 27, based on an ongoing investigation, according to Sgt. Marcos Acosta.He said a total 1,200 cannabis plants were seized, as well as 400 pounds of processed weed and $59,000 cash, during the operations.Miaopan Chen, 33, was arrested at the alleged Ontario grow on South Diana Way.She was booked into the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside on suspicion of illegal cultivation of marijuana but was released on her own recognizance after being issued a criminal citation
