Weber Water Resources CA LLC was awarded the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District contract to rehabilitate the district’s Cereal 4 Well.A 5-0 EVMWD board vote Thursday, Jan. 13, awarded the Riverside company a $588,157 contract for the work. The board action authorized an expenditure of $615,228 which also includes $24,130 for staff time and $2,941 for overhead.The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District owns and operates 12 domestic groundwater production wells in the Elsinore, Coldwater and Bedford groundwater basins. The wells provide approximately 30% of the district’s water supply. The well yield, flow and performance efficiency of wells tend to decrease as production wells age.
