The Rancho California Water District will be purchasing untreated imported water to stabilize groundwater supplies.A 7-0 RCWD board vote Thursday, May 18, authorized RCWD general manager Robert Grantham to use district financial reserves for the purchase of up to 25,000 acre-feet of untreated imported water from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for inventory as banked groundwater.
