From The Heart Christian Women's Ministries has announced that they will present their second annual Mother’s Day Brunch Saturday, May 11 at the Anza Community Hall. The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with a menu featuring Belgian waffles topped with fresh berries, quiche, ham, cottage fries and fresh fruit. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
“All of the money raised goes right back into the community,” said organizer Christi James. “These funds will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors as well as our annual backpack event.
Tickets for the brunch will be $15 for I person, $25 for 2 people, $75 for 8 people and $100 for a reserved table with a gift for Mom. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
