SAN DIEGO – This year the U.S. Postal Service will be delivering more than its usual truck loads of mail and packages in the days leading up to Labor Day. It’ll be delivering job opportunities for San Diego and Riverside County residents at five simultaneous job fairs.
USPS is seeking to fill 60 rural carrier associate (RCA) and Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC) positions at job fairs scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 29 at post offices in Escondido, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, San Marcos and Vista.
The available positions, which offer starting pay of $20.38 an hour, are ideal for candidates who enjoy being active and working independently outdoors with occasional customer service interactions and are a first step that could lead to long-term careers for the Postal Service
