EVMWD receives $8.9 million grant toward expansion of regional facility

LAKE ELSINORE – Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District received an $8.9 million grant from the United States Bureau of Reclamation toward the expansion of its Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility. The project will significantly increase capacity of the facility and equip EVMWD to meet the needs of the community’s growing population.The Bureau of Reclamation’s WaterSMART Program funds the planning, design, and construction of water recycling and reuse projects.
