Florida rider Jeff Lawrence beat Murrieta’s Colt Nichols by 1.118 seconds to win the AMA Supercross 250SX class main event Feb. 13, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, while Temecula’s Christian Craig finished third and Menifee’s Jo Shimoda took fourth place. Craig, who injured his hand when he crashed in his heat race, finished 19.403 seconds after Lawrence, whose winning time was 16 minutes 4.955 seconds. Shimoda was 33.140 seconds behind Lawrence. In both qualifying sessions, Craig had the fast lap with times of 54.088 seconds in the first session and 52.422 seconds in the second session.
